01 / CONNECT

Let's connect your Wi-Fi.

Keep USB power connected. Follow these steps on your phone—not in the examples below.

Scan the QR on your device.

Power on your GlycoFox. Open your phone's Camera, scan the SCAN TO SET UP code on its display, then tap Join “GlycoFox-Setup”.

QR not working? Open Settings → Wi-Fi and select GlycoFox-Setup from the network list.

“No internet” is normal. Choose the option that keeps you connected.

Need help?

The QR joins the clock's Wi-Fi and includes its setup password. If joining manually asks for a password, use the setup password supplied with your device. If you don't have it, ask your device supplier. Your home Wi-Fi and Dexcom passwords won't work here.

If you see a factory “Smart weather clock” hotspot, confirm that GlycoFox firmware is installed first.

Open the setup page.

Your phone may open setup automatically after joining. If it doesn’t, stay on GlycoFox-Setup and open http://192.168.4.1 in Safari or Chrome.

Use http://, not https://.

Need help?

If the captive window closes, use a normal browser tab. Check your phone is still on GlycoFox-Setup. Connection help.

Choose home Wi-Fi. Save once.

Tap Scan networks, choose your 2.4 GHz home network, and enter its password. Tap Save & connect (reboots).

The page disconnects after a successful save. That's the expected restart.

Need help?

A disconnect before saving is not confirmation that settings were saved. Leave optional owner-login creation for the next guide; you do not need the reset button.

Go back to home Wi-Fi.

Reconnect your phone to home Wi-Fi. Scan the new SCAN FOR DEXCOM code or open the new address on your display.

Use the new address or QR code—not the old setup address.

Need help?

If the setup network returns, check the home network name, password, 2.4 GHz availability, and signal. After-save help.

GlycoFox is a secondary, non-medical display. It must not be used for treatment decisions or as a replacement for official CGM alerts. Illustrations are examples; labels may vary with firmware or phone version.
