A playful run, a game with a peeking mole, a ball to bat around—and a little nap after playtime. The fox is decorative: neither its pose nor the ground reflects glucose levels.
The change sits above upward or steady arrows and below downward arrows. After 20 minutes without a fresh reading, red “NO UPDATES” replaces the number. These fictional examples do not change the fox’s behavior.

I’m the father of a little girl with T1D. In the beginning, managing it was hard. I found that checking her readings consistently helped me keep up. But unlocking my phone every time got old. That’s why I started GlycoFox.
I also wrote Let’s Help Little Fox Manage Diabetes in School. The story invites kids to teach a fox with T1D what they’ve learned, rather than just being told what to do. My goal is to manufacture useful devices at prices more families can afford. GlycoFox is a secondary display, not a replacement for official alerts or treatment tools.

No. GlycoFox is a secondary display for reference for readings supplied through Dexcom Share. It is not a glucose sensor, a CGM, or a substitute for your official app or receiver.
Can I rely on it for urgent alerts?
No. Keep your official CGM alerts enabled. Readings can be delayed or unavailable, and the fox's animations are not a medical alarm. Do not use GlycoFox for treatment decisions.
Where do I enter my Dexcom credentials?
Only in your device's local settings during setup. This promotional website does not connect to your account or collect your credentials or live readings. The product photos show historical readings supplied for this page. Use a trusted home network for device setup.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Internet access and the Dexcom Share service are required to retrieve new readings. A displayed reading may no longer be current after a connection interruption; always check your official CGM app or receiver.
Will it work with any smart weather clock?
No. Similar-looking clocks can contain different hardware. GlycoFox firmware must match the exact supported hardware. Do not flash an unidentified device just because its case or hotspot name looks familiar.
