02 / CONNECT YOUR READINGS

Bring your readings into view.

Use trusted, password-protected home Wi-Fi. Enter passwords only on the device's local page, not glycofox.com.

Turn on Share in Dexcom.

In the official G7 app, open Connections → Share. Follow the app's setup instructions and confirm it has current readings.

The official app needs internet to share readings.

Create your device login.

Open the device's new local address. Under System, create a username and password, confirm it, and tap Save settings.

This is a new device login—not your Dexcom login.

Need help?

Use 8–63 printable characters for the password. When the browser asks you to sign in again, use this new device login. Already created one? Sign in instead. Login help.

Add your Dexcom account.

Open Dexcom, turn fetching on, and enter the sharing account and password. Match its Account region, choose your display unit, then save.

Account region means where the account belongs, not your travel location.

Need help?

Regions are United States, Outside United States, or Japan. Use the account sharing the readings, not a follower invitation or clinic code. The local page uses HTTP; the owner login does not encrypt all settings traffic. Never share settings exports—they contain passwords.

Wait for success. Check the screen.

Look for Dexcom Share login successful. Compare the value, unit, and reading age with your official CGM app, allowing for Share delays.

Saved credentials alone do not mean the connection succeeded.

Need help?

For no data, repeated waiting, or sign-in errors, use the readings checklist. Avoid repeatedly saving the same failing credentials.

GlycoFox is a secondary, non-medical display. It must not be used for treatment decisions or as a replacement for official CGM alerts. Illustrations are examples; labels may vary with firmware or phone version.
